Random kick with odd message

Was just digging out a farm in an npc town when I got randomly kicked from the server with the message "flying is not enabled on this server." Of course, I'm aware of that, wasn't trying to fly in any way, just digging in the dirt... just curious why that would happen?

Maybe positioning glitch.

Did you lag? Once I dug down, but lagged, and hung in the air for a second, but when I started to go down I got kicked.

Not that I know of, but probably, the server has been unusually laggy for the last two days...

This reminds me of being kicked from a server for sneakhacking. I crouched and got kicked. Nocheat kicks you for spriniting.

I've been kicked from other servers for 'moving to fast. Hacking?!' because I was falling into worldholes....

I was banned from a server because the admins made me fall through a hole in bedrock and got banned for moving too fast.
