Request for some changes to the image reisizing

Since the image rescaling update all images are:
width : 200px
height : retains ratio

This is a very grateful addition for people who have a slow internet speed. However, threads like the image thread, drawing time thread, and My Little Pony thread have become less enjoyable and almost a nuisance to have to click on every image that seems too small to view.

I dont have much knowledge of how the site is setup and I have no idea if I am just speaking random miracles with this statement but..
Would it be possible to add a option to turn off the image resizing for users. It would automatically be turned to what it currently is but there would be a option under account that you could choose to disable this. I dont know if I am just speaking random praises with that or if its even possible but just a suggestion.

If this is not possible could it be possible to have a increased size for images for "specific" threads like the image thread, MLP thread, Drawing Time thread. If possible maybe the increased size could be something like:

width : 500px or 400px
height : retains ratio

Just some suggestions but this image resize is one of the few updates that I will not be able to adapt to all too well. When the signatures were taken away I adapted to it in about a day. When the titles were removed next to the avatar post I got used to it and was actually okay with it when it happened. Its been over 24 hours since the resize and it still agitates me every time I enter the MLP thread or image thread.

This is just something I know a few people would like and I dont know if others would as well.

Just a suggestion.

On the one hand, our eyes are saved by the massive RSMV pics.
But on the other, the site is less enjoyable in places.

Once again - I really have no place to ask for this, and I'm probably smoking the good crack, but perhaps there was a feature that automatically placed images bigger than a certain size (say, bigger than 500 x 500px) in a spoiler.

That way, the original aspect of the image would be saved (and thus enjoyed to the degree it deserves), and so would our eyeballs.

Those who are interested in the image can open it, and those who are not would just skip it by, without having their vitreous humour scrambled.

Many people who post big images are asked to put them in spoilers anyway - it's just a way to cut out the middle man, the social awkwardness, and the HOLY SHIT MY EYES.

My two cents.

And if possible, bypass that for the image thread so we can see our images in their full light.

So you're suggesting we give the Image Thread preferential treatment over other threads?
Also I'd think it'd be quite difficult to get working.

Just a little something i noticed right now, but is image re-sizing in signatures really necessary? i mean since my sig consists of images and if people still can't see it even if they click on my name it kind of defies the whole point of having a sig now

People actually look at signatures?

We could also just make a setting in the accounts tab where
A) You can have the rescaled pictures
or
B) Just display the pictures to their normal sizes
