Saw the story this morning on a local news website. Thought maybe it was something about spiders somehow being introduced at the assembly line causing issues, but nope:
The company said Thursday a spider could weave a web in a vent connected to the fuel tank system and clog up the tank's ventilation. Pressure on the fuel tank could lead to a crack, causing fuel leakage and the risk of a fire.
Wow, I wouldn't ever think spiders could cause a mass recall by that... Bad engineering or perhaps something so ridiculous that it shouldn't even happen?
