Suggestions about new outlands spawn

the old outlands spawn tower has a small protected area and around are filled up by noobs and griefers. we have talked about a lava wall at outlands spawn, its kinda sad. and my skyway is fully griefed. So, we have spoken, the old outlands spawn is damn done.

then, before we build a new outlands spawn.

1) the protected area must be much bigger than before
2) only for whitelisted players from Eagle Pass/Elm Creek can builds the new outlands spawn
3) the new portal to eagle pass is available for all whitelisted players (after finishing his project, these portal is only used for guards, mayor and ministers from Eagle Pass/Elm Creek, admins too)
4) build theme? we will discuss there in this thread

Improvements for new outlands spawn:
Primary (server main rules) and secondary (Skyway and other rules) hall of rules
Skyway and Station (NEW)
A outpost for guards (NEW)
A mini hospital (NEW)
new wide path to Ozy town/minetopia



So... please gives to us your another suggestions about the new outlands spawn. wich is better or else not.

I have a suggestion for a new spawn area. The below links go into depth of the idea as well as people's opinions of them. Please read through both and state your opinions. I appreciate any constructive criticism.

Why would we need a new spawn area? This one works just fine, and it serves its intended purpose. Why would it need to be bigger? The protected area protects the Tower just fine, tyvm. Also, the way you suggest leaves that portal open to playing favourites. Why should only a select in-game faction have access to a method of convenience? You won't be able to get that one to fly. Why would only whitelist members be allowed to build there? The whole point of the Outlands is that ANYONE can build there, and ANYONE can mine there. Another idea that won't fly.

As for a build theme........see the last point.

Also even though you see new players as 'noobs' i'm sure all of us have been like that at some point, doesnt mean we should make building harder for them by excluding them further from buildable society. Having such a large protected area would discourage new players from joining the server.
-The idea of having an outpost for guards wouldn't work at all as there is too much of an area to cover.
-Dont see the point of building a hospital within the safe zone when all you need is a sign >.<
-With the pathways to minetopia and oxytown dont see the need for fancy stations or wide paths, just a simple easily repairable cobblestone path would do (since cant be lit)
I reckon just leave wanting to play an orderly and suburban lifestyle to EP and EC.

As with all grief issue's on this server i think appointing more people with history check & banning powers etc would go a very, very long way towards solving the grief problems. Since this is beta and making a new account isnt as easy as classic having these people banned should avoid a lot of problems.
At the moment a large part of the grief isn't being checked due to people never catching an admin online so the griefers just get to destroy more and more.
