Welp, i know that i just released part 5b of my blog series, but i figured a sneak peek would be good; ya know, keep people's interest and what not
SIDENOTE: this sneak peek reflects who/what i miss, but i didn't want to post it in the thread itself. Seemed more suitable as a blog :3
So here we go!
.....After i had opened the passage door, it revealed to me a rather long staircase; similar to the stairs that lead one into the Library of the Ancients.
I walked for what seemed like hours, until, not paying attention, i ran into a wall. But this wall wasn't ordinary; it was carved with some sort of inscription. "I can't read any of this" i said aloud in an impatient tone, "Ugh how is this even helpful?!"
I looked around, and i saw why i ran into the wall; the stairs veered off into a sharp angle going downwards still. I continued down the stairs until i stopped abruptly. Something in the back of my mind was telling....urging me to go back to the wall.
When i returned to the inscribed wall, i fell to the ground in pain; my head was throbbing worse than any migraine imaginable.
I tried to get up, but i couldn't; the pain was too great.
"You're going to kill yourself doing that you know." A familiar voice said.
I looked around as best i could, desperate to rid myself of this pain, but unable to move my body.
"A-Alyyiah? what are you doing here?" i grunted.
"honestly; i don't know" she said, "i just had a feeling i should find you, and here you are."
"W-well, whatever, get me away from this!" i grunted more; each time i talked the pain seemed to double.
She dragged me away from the wall, and the pain slowly went away. She approached the wall slowly; i tried to stop her but i fell to my knees.
"Mighty, you're too weak from the pain. just rest." she said without even making eye contact.
All i could do was watch; the wall didn't seem to affect her the way it did me. She ran her fingers across the inscription, and she stepped back for a second.
"Alyyiah, can you read that?"
She didn't respond. she just stood there.
"Alyyiah?"
"Alyyiah?!"
She rose her hand up as a signal for me to be quiet, then she spoke only one word.
"Kosol."
