Earth has been found, and invaded. The invading forces are hostile and earth is fighting back. Godliberator is a new recruit hired by a secret global agency based in Europe to fight off the invading forces. He was assigned a squad he was not familiar with and was sent in on a reconnaissance mission. His forces came under fire and all members of his squad were killed in action. Recruit Godliberator escaped with his life as he managed to kill a sectoid enemy with a tossed grenade and was able to escape with his life. Upon his return, Godlib was promoted to squaddie and placed in charge of his own group of new recruits to command. The new recruits had never seen action and were all new to any form of combat. Godlib was placed as team lead and took the role of heavy gunner.
There were twelve members of the team in the beginning. Godliberator, Wooty, Ollee, Ozy, Casham, ConroD, KC006, Konflakes, Tofurkey, Pixiel, Patchouii, and Faerieincombatboots were chosen to be the government’s spear against the invading forces.
Within days, abductions became abundant and the United States and China put out a cry for help to clear two abduction sites. The US was chosen, and Godlib, Sonic, Ollee, and Ozy were chosen to head to San Francisco as alpha team.
Upon arrival the team starts to clear the area. Godlib climbed on top of a nearby roof and spotted a sectoid crouched behind some debris. Godlib fired a burst from his heavy machine gun and the rounds shredded the sectoid and scored Godlib a confirmed kill. The team continued clearing the area and a sectoid was seen running into a building. Wooty tossed in a grenade after it and the explosion killed it and showered the team in debris. The explosion sent two more sectoids to take cover in a nearby warehouse building. Godliberator fired a rocket through the door after them and the explosion killed both of the sectoids. No other sectoids were found and the abduction site was secured successfully. In total four corpses were recovered from the scene and two weapon fragments were collected for research. None of the team suffered any injury. Wooty was promoted to Squaddie and took the Support role of the team, opting to carry a medpack into battle instead of a grenade.
The council congratulated the team on the success of the mission and have created a laboratory. Four scientists have been assigned to aide in research. Sadly due to ignoring China’s call for help, panic has increased across Asia. A new Nanofiber vest has been created and permission was given to autopsy the recovered alien corpses in future missions to learn more about them. Days after the laboratory was put to work, an engineering department was also formed onsite to help expand the base and build weapons, interceptor fighters, and other facilities within the base of operations.
A couple days later the council met with the team with information that one of the people who were abducted managed to escape and was hiding in a nearby location. Alpha team was dispatched to the location to rescue the civilian and get any information available from them.
Upon touchdown the team began moving to find cover. A new alien type dubbed “thin man” stepped out and both Ollee and Sonic take quick shots on the thin man but neither of them are able to land a hit on it. Godlib then stepped out from behind cover as the thin man moved to its hiding spot and eliminates the thin man. Godlib however left himself exposed and took fire from another thin man and was hit by the incoming fire. Ozy moved up to provide support , but was also hit by incoming fire and suffered injury. Sonic saw an opening and took a shot on the thin man that had Godlib and Ozy pinned down and scored a kill with a burst from his rifle. Ollee meanwhile was able to flank the remaining thin man and scored a quick kill. Woot ran over to Godlib and patched his wound with the medpack. Ozy was the first to reach the informant and began escorting her back to the L.Z.
A thin man stepped out from a building and Godlib fired a burst in it's direction but was unable to hit the target. Sonic seeing that the team was in danger tossed a smoke grenade to mask the escort teams movements and protect the informant. The thin man fired into the smoke but was not able to hit any member of the team. Ozy using the smoke to his advantage fired on the thin man and severely injured it. The slim man fired blindly into the smoke. The escort team moved ahead as Ozy stayed in cover and took out the thin man.
As the escort team was closing in on the L.Z., a thin man emerged from cover and fired on Godlib who avoided further injury by diving into cover. Godlib quickly rolled out of cover and fired a burst into the thin man and confirmed the kill. Ozy caught back up with the team and the informant was successfully escorted to the L.Z. for debriefing.
For their efforts, Godlib was promoted to the rank of corporal, Ollee was promoted to squaddie and took the role of sniper, and Ozy was also promoted to squaddie and took the assault role, trading in his rifle for a shotgun. Godlib and Ozy were wounded in the encounter and after spending several days in the infirmary were returned to active duty. Several corpses, and weapon fragments were recovered from the area. Five more scientists showed up at base to aide in the research efforts, and a new satellite was launched in the United States to help detect alien movements.
The research department has requested if possible to catch the enemy alive and is working on creating a device called the arc thrower to incapacitate the aliens and allow them to be captured alive. Engineering also began to build a containment facility to hold any captured aliens.
Things were quiet for only a couple days, when the new satellite picked up an incoming UFO on radar. An interceptor fighter aircraft was dispatched to bring it down. This was successful and alpha team was dispatched to recover anything they could from the crash site.
Upon arriving at the crash site two sectoids jump out from behind some debris and fire on Ollee who is hit with plasma fire. Ollee attempted to line up a shot to return fire, but he shot wide. Godlib ran forward and laid down suppression fire on the enemy. Ollee took more plasma fire to the chest and was nearly K.I.A., however, Sonic was able to dash forward and patch up his wounds and get him back in the fight.
The two sectoids created a telekinetic bond which gave a boost to their strength. Ollee lined up another shot and the bullet found its mark through the head of one of the sectoids killing it instantly. The telekinetic link was broken abruptly and the second sectoid’s head exploded.
The team moved up a bit closer to the crash center and on the right flank two more sectoids emerged. Plasma shot in Ozy’s direction which reduced a large tree to splinters.
At that, a new unknown enemy emerged from the UFO and took shelter near Godlib. Godlib turned and fired at the new enemy, decimating the cover it was utilizing. Ozy saw his opening, sprinted forward and placed a large lead slug through the alien’s chest. The alien crumpled and dissolved away.
The two remaining sectoids fired onto Godlib’s position, and he is able to get to cover in time. The sectoids also make a telekinetic link, but Godlib pulls the rocket launcher from over his back, primes it and lets a rocket fly into the two sectoids and the massive explosion ends both of them.
The crash site has been secured and several alien corpses and alien artifacts from the downed craft. 5 enemies were killed in the skirmish and Ollee was gravely wounded. Ollee would be in the infirmary for fifteen days to recover. Godlib was promoted to Sergent, and Sonic was promoted to Corporal for their actions.
Without any time to relax upon return, the council had information about a bomb which was discovered in Bangalore, India at a train station. Ollee was still in the infirmary when this was discovered, so Pixiel was brought into alpha team to take his place for this mission.
Immediately on landing, a slim man darts to cover. Pixiel, given the opportunity to prove herself in battle, ran forward and tossed a grenade at its feet scoring a very noisy and messy kill. Two aditional sectoids being alerted by the explosion fire at Sonic who dives to avoid it. Sonic made his way forward and managed to disable a power source for the bomb which bought the team more time before the bomb would explode. Sonic then emerged from cover and fired at one of the sectoids. His shots conected but the sectoid was able to find cover before it was killed. Sonic ducked behind cover as the air above him filled with plasma bolts fired from the sectoids. The sectoid ran for the train to take cover, Pixiel and Godlib gave suppression fire on the sectoids. Sonic took a shot and was able to put the sectoid he injured out of its misery. The other sectoid, distracted by Sonic killing his team mate, did not notice Ozy, who ran onto the train from behind, put the shotgun right to the sectoid 's spine and hallowed out the sectoid. Thinking things were clear, Sonic moved from cover when a sectoid fired on him and injured him. While injured, Sonic ran back to cover and after moving into flanking position, popped out and made a very swift kill on the sectoid that shot him.
Godlib managed to disable two more power sources which gave enough time for Sonic to get to the bomb and disarm it. As he stepped away from the bomb, a thin man dropped from the roof of the building and Sonic took a quick shot, but was not able to connect a hit on his target. Another dropped down behind Sonic, luckily Pixiel saw it land and was able to get a shot off which connected and knocked it back. Godlib saw the thin man get knocked back and unleashed the last of his ammo and watched it crumple in death. The last thin man exchanged fire with Sonic from behind cover within the train. wanting to end things quickly, Ozy tossed a grenade through the window of the train which landed next to the thin man. A mist was all that remained of the thin man after the explosion. The team secured the area and returned to base successfully.
Godlib was promoted to Lieutenant, Sonic and Ozy were both promoted to Sergent. Pixiel was promoted to Squaddie and took the role of sniper. With Godlib's promotion, he underwent officer schooling and is able to add a member to the team. Pixiel proved herself and earned a permanent spot on the team. Sonic was wounded in the fight and joined Ollee in the infirmary. The arc thrower has been created for a member of the team to carry into battle to attempt capture of live specimens for research.
5 recruits were hired (4 male and 1 female) and new research is available in the laboratory.

This was a tad long to be sure, but I do hope you enjoyed reading it. The next part should be a good bit shorter.
