Team9000 Radio Suggestion

I was wondering if we could have other radio stations in the Radio tab besides MLP radio.
I mean seriously, that's not radio. Play some real music there.

If you're going to submit an idea, do it properly. Don't be a douche and insult whats already there. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean its shit, and that attitude is highly unappreciated and immature.

On a side note, if you can find ~400 gb of completely free music that doesn't violate any copyright laws or go against some kind of license, then you are headed in the right direction

Still. There are tons of online gaming radio stations, it's not hard to find.
Then go listen to those...?

Woot said if you, "you" wanna compile a collection of free non copyrighted songs then he might do it. However from the songs you would get I am sure there is already a radio station out there with said songs. So I fail to see the effort.

Funny... There have to be songs out there that are not MLP, that are free. Or is there some special version of the creative commons license specifically for mlp songs?

How about game sountrack remixes, I bet we can find loads of those, and I don't believe that sonic started the MLP radio with 400 gb's instantly. Also, how many of those 400 are dubstep remixes of the main theme song :D?

I'd like to point out that the radio is "Cloudsdale Radio"; As in, a city in Equestria. If you want to suggest other radio channels, that's fine. But if you are going to insult the radio because it is MLP, when that was what it was solely for originally, then you honestly need to fuck off... Now excuse me, I'm going to bed before I post more things like this.

It may shock you, but not everyone likes MLP. It was simply another idea.

Read my post, then read the quote from him. Everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion, but to just say your radio sucks because it has Pony songs would be like me going up to a group of people who openly hate bronies and talking about ponies and how people who don't like ponies aren't even real people, or like going into a country music dance hall and saying that they should play some rap. Now, goodnight.

There's definitely a pony music station somewhere else, if we follow your argument we can disable the already existing station as well.

I agree with those saying some attack the current radio too harshly. I liked your post shadow before you added that last bit. There's such a thing as preference in tastes so not everyone will enjoy the same things. That is also the reason why we shouldn't dismiss people when they suggest more variety though, considering we are not a pony music only site.

Does anyone support the idea for a radio with video-game soundtrack remixes?

I whole heartily support another radio station, but I think the point that was missed is the fact that Woot is not the one that is going to hunt this music down, so if it is going to happen, then you guys need to find the music. Even then, I don't know how much Woot trusts the people involved to just say "oh, all this music is most definitely free and properly licensed to play on the radio." I am not trying to be mean, or shoot anyone's idea down at all, it is at least worth a try and if he doesn't use the library you suggest, then at least you still have all the music you want to hear.

Finally, and woot correct me if I am wrong, but I think the radio was initially intended to test the pon3 architecture Woot was building and playing around with, and it just ended up working better then expected.

Again, I am not trying to be mean, only trying to set you guys up to know what to expect. If this is going to happen, you will have to find the music, Woot is a busy guy.

Sorry for the off-topic, but how does Wooty know if a song is creative-commons when he downloads all this stuff? I suppose he just downloads everything automatically from a couple of sources?
