Something like that, anyways. There are reports from this blog and other sites indicating Google is working on a pair of pretty sweet glasses. These glasses will have the ability to display information that the wearer is currently looking at in real-time such as directions, facebook information or other things that would be recognizable in Google's database and provide any information. The wearer will be able to scroll and select items for more detail by simply nodding/tilting their head. The information will only be displayed on one side of the glasses and the information will not be transparent (i.e. you won't be able to see the world beyond the text or anything). There is no word on whether these things will ever actually be released for full retail.

never use any device that requires you to look away from the road. radios are dangerous enough, but most people have memorized where the buttons are.

Never use a HUD device while driving, its too distracting. I don't even look at my GPS, I just listen, or my wife tells me where to go.

I don't generally use a GPS. I normally memorize it by heart if it's simple, or if i go way out of town, i write it down in case i am unsure. Also, I agree with the radio, most of us know where all buttons are, and we should.
