The map gets expanded every new MC version. Quit complaining about it.

As the following post was in a non-MC Survival dedicated thread and forum, and as I'd prefer not to spam the thread it came from with my reply (and replies to my reply) to the original comment, I will be replying in this forum.

I say we make Minecraft Monday a day to wipe and put the 1.4 update, and start over.

Right?

Like this post if you agree.

Seriously... shut up. Seriously.
(Also, if you want to post a sort-of-but-not-really poll or start a wipe discussion, do it in the correct forum.)

Unless I'm mistaken, the current map is designed to start small, then expand every new minecraft version. This is to accommodate people who want to take advantage of new features without having to wipe every new version or add new items to the spawn shop. This map is designed to be a long-term map. It is designed to grow into a large map. If you want to have a large city, build it far away from spawn. If the next version of Minecraft is too far off, and things are too cramped, request that the radius be expanded. If you don't like where your town is, feel like you're being surrounded, or are just irritated that someone bought a plot that you had originally planned to buy, then just make a new town somewhere far away.

As always a logical well thought out response.

Actually we wipe any server that we feel like wiping out if you didn't see woots post he said we are having a wipe for 1.4 soon. This current map isn't really designed but half of it is to start into every new Minecraft version so if you were wondering Its not OUR fault its wootys saying.
Anywho why in the world did you shift this thread into cities..

When did woot say he was going to wipe for 1.4? Are you, by any chance, referring to this? If so, he doesn't actually say anything about a wipe.

Actual Personal experience..... Be very afraid when you see the following:

"BRB, rebooting" -- Woot

This usually precedes a wipe

If there's gonna be a wipe, make a pilgrimage to -1060, 1075 and pray for your sins to be absolved in front of the Wooty statue.

We just started on this new world, and if there's another wipe, then I might quit t9k.
I like to make my buildings permenant, and I really don't want to see them destroyed.

There are so many rumors, opinions, and facts being jumbled together that I'm currently really confused about the state of whether there's going to be a wipe in the near future or not.
