The Time for The Tower of Cheese is Nigh!

I have found a spot near the Spawn that is extremely griefed, yet unowned. If I can get some people who are willing to help me build the tower, I will begin construction of The Tower of Cheese. I will keep details quiet until I can get some more people here to help, but here's basically what the tower is:

The Tower of Cheese is supposed to be a community hotspot, filled with activities to do, like swimming/diving, buying and selling items, talking, and much more! There will be more than just a tower overtime, creating a little area filled with fun stuff to do with your friends! The tower will gradually get bigger and bigger until we decide that it's big enough!

In that case, I would be interested in helping.

I'd like to see some concrete plans first, but I could definitely provide funding and other assistance.
Basic designs and dimensions, please?
I will create a floor model in single-player creative and post the pics of it here. The model will be a single floor, not entirely roofed (for speed), and will show you the basic structure of the tower.

Also, I have two size ideas for the tower, but they have a huge difference in volume and material consumage. There is a 32 x 32 circular and a 64 x 64 circular. I will make the model being the 32 x 32 one to show you an example.

Alright, done with the 2-floor model (the 2nd floor is just to emphasize the size of the doorway.):

The doorway.

These are just a basic idea. I will add a couple of other things to it to make it look better. Tell me what you think.

It looks nice, there is beauty in simplicity and I value that.

Looks like you will need a large amount of stone brick and logs/wood. I could certainly help with that. Do you think you could figure out an estimate of how many stacks of each you will need? It would be a huge help.

Also, the use of glowstone is very cool, but might not be practical with the loss of the Nether. Perhaps look into other lighting sources like jack o' lanterns?
I might use Jack-o-lanterns for lighting. I just liked the look of the glowstone better. Also, it's hard to calculate the amount of wood needed, but here's my estimate on stone bricks:

A staggering 12 stacks of stone bricks per floor!

The wood amount isn't as high as the stone brick amount, this I am sure of. I can also supply a ton of cobble, but the coal needed is something I might need help with.

I will also buy the plots once I get at least 3 people helping me. I only need one more.

In that case, I should have enough of all the materials you need. I can also help with the buying of the plots and building if you want.
That would be great! I already have the money for the tower's plot (it's an outpost), and I hope to expand it to a little park. Maybe after the tower is big enough, I'll add a pool and a roller coaster or maybe just a couple of benches. I haven't decided on what the outside of the tower will be yet.

I have 1,100 credits on me, and I will vote everyday.

Count me as half of a person, as I will be bringing very few (if any) resources with me. However, I am willing to dig. If you have any plans for subterranean floors, or just need a general laborer, let me know.

If you need any funds, let me know. Money is no object.

Seeing as this is going to be the tower of cheese, it might be cool to have a yellow/orange wool pattern for the other parts of the floor (that are currently grass). What do you think?
That would be good, but colored wool is something I am short on :(

There will be a couple of subterranean floors, so digging is still useful.

What colors of wool, exactly?
EDIT: Derp, there is a post above yours. Yellow and orange, anything else?

Not a problem my friend, I will provide.

Do you think you could estimate how much of that grass area is? It would help so I can make sure that I dye the right amount of yellow and orange wool.
Depends on the pattern... Half and half would be about 6.5 stacks of each.
EDIT: Assuming this tower is 32 x 32
EDIT2: I am derping all over the place and need to write this out.

There is approximately 1032 grass blocks in that thing, and that's only on the first floor. It will require 16 1/8 stacks of yellow and orange wool ( that's not seperately, that's just how much wool's needed.)

Also, I don't plan on doing that on every floor. Just the first.

Some minor bad news: I have to return to my college prep classes for a while, and can't work on it until Friday. My classes won't last too much longer, so I'll go ahead and buy the plots in a second so that I can work on it on Friday.

I also must warn you, the spot I chose is very close to the spawn, so it's very griefed. I will try to de-grief it as much as I can before I have to go.

The tower will be a little bit bigger than I expected. It's a little over 32 x 32. I have the money nonetheless, but now I will require a little more room for my tower. I might make it in a desert.
