1. Transfer certain resources from Shroomville to Maridia. Please reply to this post if Maridia is in need of any specific resources. Either allocate an unclaimed zone where I can make drop offs, or some resident has to add me as a friend and allow me to use their chests for drop offs.

2. Unclaim Shroomville Jungle Outpost for potential claiming by Maridia.

Shroomville is about 900 blocks southwest of main spawn. I'll see what I can scrounge up.

I'll be waiting for assistant approval to join the town before I start moving things over.

In that case I guess you'd just go through spawn to sign island.

@anonymous how long do you reckon "some time" is ?

@bored Is there any chance of starting that new district to the west of maridia? I would still like to begin a port project there at some point.

The is a problem with a xp farm in Maridia.

Foxzm told to you (bored) that the farm was on his plot.
But it isn't, it was an public farm, and it was created on 1 plot, a unknown plot.
Before I started there weren't any other builds on that plot.

And he told me that the reason to be unhappy with the farm was that he couldn't expand his home, so I gave him 3 other plots, all next to his home.
Now he got the farm, and there still isn't any public xp farm in maridia.

first of all , you didn't give me those plots. before i knew that those plots were for new members i took them until crabbie told me and then i gave them back to crabbie. second i had plans with that mob spawner until one day i get on and see that you CLAIMED part of my house which meant that i could not finish my house. also you dug under my original plot with out asking like you did with many other plots (ask anyone) third this problem is not with foxzm. it is with me and you. i have heard that you are a rouge assistant and i don't feel safe with you comming in my house like you did this morning. i found you in my house and i had to have crabbie come and ask you to leave.

That part is untrue. there is one right off north west maridia. a skelly grinder.

Also don't forget my dual grinder about 30s off the Maridia-Sign island railway. it does zombies AND skeletons.

Perhaps in a month or so. I'm probably going to get a craptop, but it'll be a good temp for a desktop in the meanwhile.

-previous experience in minecraft? - I mostly play hardcore island singleplayer. Used to run a small server with a few friends, bukkit, mcmmo, small stuff. I'm not really the superb building type (i dont make huge amazing structures) i'm more of a technical super nerdy efficient builder: ie efficient farms, redstone circuits, rail systems, and basically do alot of crazy stuff other than building awesome bridges and stuff.
-previous towns? None. 1st time in a large multiplayer server since about ~1 year

Ohai all! Looking through all this is interesting and I'll try to cover all the issues going on in an orderly/timely matter.

First: Approved all the new people that applied on the forums and very excited to see the new members coming into town I will get with ya oozi on claiming that outpost btw.

Secondly: Duin, there were some issues raised about some of the plot claims going on and I was going to ask you if fox_news could take control of the plot and you 2 could collaborate on how to have the mob spawner and he could expand his house. Unfortunately another assistant annexed the plot for fox_news to claim ahead of time. Anyways I did see what you were doing with the plot and how it was behind fox_news plot, but just needed better communication on people wanting to expand their homes. Oh yea, and stop with all the holes in the main tunnel I hate dealing with creepers in the railway >.<

Thirdly: Elections for our next assistant will commence next month (hopefully if I'm not too busy with family issues.) And I will be making a list of candidates in the first post at the end of this month. Just please have patience and good luck to those who are nominated/apply

Lastly: Planning stages for "Project Metro" is going pretty smoothly, please note that we will have a totally different system of town management that will be outlined when initiated. So yeah stay tuned!

P.S. Feel free to work on the port in Western Maridia Bengal, the election center won't be in the way of the port so have fun! (The road beside Crabbie's cruiseliner is set for sale so you can setup a shipyard there, like containers and a crane possibly? Just make sure there is still waterway between the lighthouse and that road for looks so the ship can leave port.) Oh and maybe develop a bit to the east of the lighthouse, maybe look like _/ or something instead of _|...

I never dig in the railway, I only did once because i needed dirt, and i fell into the railway, when I wanted to repear it my laptop crashed, and that whole was in Maridia, not in the wilderness.

I have a solution for this problem, we can make the farm public (I wanted to to that with the farm) and you can create a path from your house to the farm, and you can put iron doors on the border from your plot, so residents can't get into your house.

And some people are saying that there are other farms outside Maridia, but when I asked 5 people for a mob spawner they said there isn't one.

And now I am mining on another way, about 500 meters away from Maridia in the wilderness.

first i joined the town and started building my house. i needed cobble so i went digging and found it (this is when i first joined the town which was 3 weeks ago) left it untouched because i needed to finish my house and could make a mob grinder later. one day i come on and found out that you STOLE it from my plot.
second, I CLAIMED THOSE 3 PLOTS WITH MY OWN WILL! you had no part what so ever with me and those 3 plots. forget about you and those plots because buddy, i see what you are trying to do, and not to burst your bubble but, its not working.
third, i have hopped you have learned a lesson from this. if you haven't then let me assist you. the lesson you should have learned is:
DON'T BUILD/DESTROY IN OTHERS PLOTS, AND MAKE LIES ABOUT WHAT HAPPEND

@duin and fox_news: thank you for working it out guys, I know we are a bit congested in some of the inner parts of town and really appreciate you guys understanding how we all need to work together to make sure this town is awesome! Just please communicate with eachother about touchy subjects that involves areas of prime development as both of you were building to enhance the town and it just became a bit meshed up badly in this case, until you 2 talked it out now .
