Think back one year

I transferred to a research-intensive university. Since then, I have been a successful student.

Had I not made this decision, I would probably be studying out-of-state to get pretty much the same education for about 15,000 USD more per year.

I have 3 years worth of credits to fulfill, so that's a total of $45,000 saved. And that's before graduate school.

8 months ago I decided to quit my job in Vegas, move back to Ohio and go back to school...there's that.

Also, i decided to drink more tea yesterday. Life changing decision...

Hmmm last year I became a father, bought a house, bought tickets for PAX East 2013, and started the community game nights for T9k. How the hell am I gonna beat that for this year? :D

The thing is, I don't think I've made a big decision this year. 2012 saw a lot of big things happen for me, but those were put in motion a long time ago. I guess I made the decision to accept the offer of my current workplace. In which case, I'd either be unemployed right now, or working at my old company which I hated.
