[Rant]
So I try to keep a few bucks to the side for fun stuff like going to the movies, date stuff, and " i feel like doing random shit today" or my new hobby buying art.
About two weeks ago I got the urge to purchase a reference sheet for one of my OC's and started hunting down artists. I like to get stuff from different people for variety. So i found a couple i wanted to give a shot so I did the dance. Which is: seeing if they are actually open to commissions, can i afford them, reading the TOS/ FAQ if they have one, and then contacting them by their choice service.
This narrowed it down one who was available so we chatted talked about how many poses i wanted or did i want a bust too and similar subject mater. Then come the part where i send them any additional information and wait then pay them however. This is the point where things most often go wrong. this is also the point where the whole deal for me stalled and thus my biggest pet peeve.
WHY would you waste MY time saying that you are OPEN for work AND GETTING ME TO DESCRIBE WHAT I WANT IN GREAT DETAIL when you do not intend to follow the fuck through or can't. WHY THE HELL AM I SENDING YOU MY SHIT when you are just gonna make me wait FUCKING WEEKS BEFORE YOU SEND ME A "oh i changed my mind lol" MESSAGE.
NO. FUCK YOU. I held my very rare spare bucks to the damn side. If you have time to send me messages to confirm details for advanced payment you got fucking time to let me know if you can't get started because of IRL shit. I don't even want details about what it is just LET ME KNOW SO I CAN MOVE THE FUCK ON TO SOMEONE ELSE. I shouldn't have to hunt your ass down after the fact.
