I remember Vexx. Loved that game. Beat the demo I don't know how many times before I actually got the game.
Oh fuck yeah me too, I bought almost every OPS2M episode for those demo discs, that's how I got to know the game

Also, this is pure nostalgia for me, I think the music was different in the us but whatevs

Gears of war 3

Gears-Of-War-31.jpg

What can I say? This gruesome third person shooter is highly enjoyable! Gears of war 3's worlds are highly interactive, giving the ability to hide behind walls like a chicken about to lay its eggs. You are able to carry four types of weaponry: pistol, grenades, and two other whatevers. But seriously, all this blasting and bleeding out is easy to get addicted to.

Black & White 2

black+&+whithe+2.jpg

Who does not want to be a god that totally controls a bunch of petty humans, burning them or rewarding them for whatever reason you like. Heck, you even own a giant creature that you can have as a pet! Black & White 2 is one of those games that has the ability to turn you into a maniac sitting in front of a computer screen with no caring for sleep.

Saints row 2

saints-row-2.jpg

In Saints row 2, you play as the big boss of a gang called the third street saints. You're a very violent and dispicable human being that likes guns and killing. You are able to customize your character in the beginning of the game, and many other things are customizable. Let's just say Saints row 2 is a sandbox game that really feels like a sandbox.

Carmageddon

Carmageddon2Box.jpg

(singing)
When I was just a billy, I thought it rather silly....
To see all the other games I could have....

I had my toys to play, in my computer they would stay....
But then I saw this game in a stoooore...

Carmageddon, yes carmageddon...
It is such a bloody game that my mother forbade me from playing it....

But even when she stopped me....
I kept playing in until today, tooooodaaaaayyy!

The sims 3

the-sims-3-wallpaper-1.jpg

This game is perfect for forcefull people! Sims are stupid and just loooooove following your orders to the letter! In the sims, you create a family, put them in a house, and take over their lives until they die in anyway possible! That sounds like a lot of fun right?

Minecraft

minecraft-creeper-sticker.jpg

In minecraft, you reside in a giant blocky world that is larger than Earth itself. This land is filled with random creatures that plan on destroying you and your perfectly planned buildings. I am much too busy trying to pet creepers without dying to know how long I played this game.

Fallout 3/New Vegas

fallout-new-vegas.png

Fallout is like The Elder Scrolls with guns and explosives, what more could you ask for?? Fallout is set in the future after the events of a nuclear war, strangely it seems like the game is set in the 80s..... Hmmm..... Maybe the guy who made the game was drunk in an epic way.

The elder scrolls.... ALL OF THEM!!

I'm too lazy to explain it all.....

Portal 1/2

portal_2_friends.jpg

In portal, you are the slave and puppet of an evil and bitchy AI called GLaDoS. She hurls you around her evil obstacle courses and forces you to solve them to save your own life. You also have a portal gun that can create two holes that you can come in and out of, and it is able to carry objects. I still do not forgive GLaDoS for making me lose my trust in cake.

The reason it sounds like the 50's is because the story goes, after WWII the world stayed in the 50's style mentality and instead advancing in culture, they advanced in technology. Hence, the mini-nuke launcher. in 2027, the nuclear attacks made the world inhospitable, and people were chosen to be let into the vaults. Fallout 3 takes place approx. 200 years later.

Does that mean the world would be in much worse condition if people held on to the old culture and just made new bombs? O.O

10. Shadow of the Colossus
xlarge.jpg

  • Innovative and unique combat system
  • Excellent job of conveying the feel that you are alone in this vast world as well as a sense of both urgency and sadness to save his significant other.
  • The game lacks any in-depth explanation of the story or the world you are in, this leaves the game open to much interpretation which is part of its
    Brilliance.

9. Pokemon Crystal/Gold/Silver Version
Pokemon_Crystal_Version_GBC_ScreenShot1.jpg

  • It's a Pokemon game, so it doesn't need too much explanation.
  • There are a completely reasonable number of Pokemon in second generation and they all look reasonable and fun, all
are great ideas and well thought-out.
  • Nostalgic reasons

8. Super Mario Bros.

gaming-super-mario-bros-1.jpg

  • Nostalgia
  • Endless entertainment, even once you beat it, it never gets old.
  • The pinnacle of platforming perfection; simple, yet brilliant.

7. Metroid Fusion

boss_omega.gif

  • Excellent combat system and well thought-out upgrades
  • Great Story
  • The entire feel of the game is so dark and, honestly, terrifying. The game does an excellent job of conveying this feeling.

6.Okami

OkamiHD_Gamescom2012_0006.jpg

  • Absolutely beautiful art style
  • Fun combat system with multiple fighting styles]
  • Beautiful overall message and theme
  • Excellent storyline that never gets boring
  • Innovative abilities

5. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

eGtndG1kMTI=_o_lens-of-truth--zelda-ocarina-of-time---the-well.jpg

  • Innovative game; first 3D LoZ title
  • Nostalgia
  • Beautifully made RPG with an absolutely amazing combat system and multiple way to tackle any fight
  • Graphics far beyond its time
  • Does an excellent job conveying feeling
  • The game is truly dark and terrifying, I am surprised it did not receive an "M" rating
  • Great story that paved the way and set a standard for all other LoZ titles

4. Final Fantasy: Chrystal Chronicles

ffcc.jpg

  • Great, fast-paced combat system
  • A Good storyline and setting, as well as some nice character-specific relationships with family
  • Great soundtrack
  • Really brings friends and family together through reliance and the feeling of "no man left behind' you know, back when you had to be near
each other to play games together
  • Enjoyable combat with no true "classes"
  • Very challenging
  • Tons of replay value, the game truly never gets old
  • Beautiful animations and particles

3. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker

ZWWGC.jpg

  • Beautiful and timeless art-style
  • The game does an excellent job of conveying feeling both bright and dark
  • Smooth combat that would make OoT proud
  • Great story as expected from an LoZ title
  • Endless side quests... okay, not literally, but there are a ton of them, each one uniquely different and fun.
  • Added depth to many background characters
  • The game really just makes you happy, simply by playing Wind Waker one's mood will brighten substantially

2. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

alttp01.jpg

  • Great gameplay that puts other 2D RPGs to shame
  • Innovative equipment and items
  • Beautiful graphics, lighting usage in particular
  • Fun game that leaves you feeling very accomplished when beaten
  • Some pretty fun side quests
  • One of the first LoZ games to truly contribute some very interesting timeline info

1. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

16.jpg

  • The storyline puts all other LoZ games to shame
  • The feel of the game is.... just amazing. They did an unfathomably fantastic job at conveying feeling and tone. The game is both the darkest Zelda
game, as well as one of the brightest. The reason for this is that the entire game revolves around death, everything in the game seems to be dead or
quickly dying, but the actual actions you take in the game are remarkably bright; you are bringing life back to a decrepit and ultimately doomed
    world.
  • The main villain, Majora's Mask, is completely and utterly insane, he actually gives you the key to his destruction because he thinks it will make
things more fun. In addition, he is truly shrouded in mystery. No one really knows where Majora's mask comes from or who Majora was. This
makes for many, many theories on the subject but I will not delve in to these here.If you're interested, message me.
  • Excellent side quests/stories and character depth; it really seems like everyone in the game has there own unique personality, back story and
    personal issues.
  • Majora's Mask adds so much to the LoZ time line and lore,it's simply amazing.
  • The game itself is sort of like a more perfected version of OoT, with more items, combat styles, and smoother controls.
  • Conveying emotion: gonna be honest, a cried once or twice the first time I played it.
  • Difficulty: the game is much more difficult than OoT and, in my opinion, just hard enough so that it's challenging without being annoying.

PS: No I didn't revise this because I'm lazy and it's too long; please ignore any and all grammar, formatting and spelling
errors.
