I am announcing the beginning of Tortuga. This will be a place with a 16-17-18 th century Privateer, Buccaneer themed town(That's pirates.) This city will be based on an island in the middle of a small Gulf that I have found. It will be mostly on water with major farming facilities underground. I hope to make this into a central port for most of the Island towns and a sort of harbor to all those seeking to explore the ocean. If you are interested let me know. New members will be welcome by recommendation and application only. If you are interested just post, I will start an application portion as time goes on.
The plan is simple, Develop a town worthy of that time frame for the type of lifestyle in that time period. Most housing will be on top of water and nearly all the things on water will be made of wood. I hope to be able to begin bigger projects like constructing ships and having a large harbor.
As of now we have no other affiliations with towns, however if they wish to form some type of alliance/mutual trade agreement we would be willing to consider all things.
