As 2013 unfolds upon us, so does the start of my third year here at Team 9000. While I was waiting for the start of the new year and playing Shadow of the Colossus, I had reoccurring thoughts about all the time I've spent here and what it means to me.
When I fist joined up on December 27, 2010, I really only saw this place as a fun, Minecraft oriented site. The forums just felt like a bonus, and I didn't post much to begin with. Time passed, I met and crafted with people in-game, and I found myself coming to this site almost daily. I'd check out Team 9000 Live or lurk the forums for hours, just spending large and unnecessary amounts of time here for no real reason other than to pass the time. Everything became routine, and I loved it. Talking to others, playing random games of Trackmania and Armagetron, and even the silly forum games that persist today.
Fast forward a massive chunk of time, and I'm still here, lurking, posting, playing.
All in all, it's the community here that's kept me coming back. Everyone here has an open mind, is extremely friendly, and loves video games. What more could I ask for? Team 9000 is a big part of my life, although it seems kinda strange, it is what it is: Good friends and video games. It's something that I can always look forward to, regardless of how crazy, hard, or boring my life gets.
Thank you Team 9000 for these past few years, and I hope for many more to come!
