While poor etiquette was exchanged from multiple people, and they should be nicer, in the end, welcome to the internet where people are assholes and things will inevitably come your direction. If you find your interactions with them result in similar exchanges and they continue to bother you, you might want to not interact with them...or, perhaps, consider a new hobby.
