Will they at least get Creative mode so they can watch the rest of the games play out?

I mean, if somebody abused that, they could be easily banned and prevented from joining the next games.

No. The only people with any direct outside influence will be the three GMs, and our interference will be limited for the first part of the game. We're hashing out a possible plan for sponsors to give 'gifts' to the tributes, but at this point it is unlikely that contestants who have died will have access to this.

EDIT: Also, there are only three GMs, and we are the only ones with any solid information about the game as it stands. The information leak will be minimal to keep the games as close to the way they occur in-canon as possible; we may be going with any one of a half-dozen maps, for example, and the map we choose won't be revealed until the game start.


We're working on a day and time to start the game, we'll post that information as soon as we come to an agreement.

However, is there ANY way we could have players fly around and teleport to spectate the games?

In case anyone was wondering, everyone who has signed up so far has been added to the list
I would also like to point out that I think there is a bukkit mod that handles spectating and stuff, but no promises

This hasn't been discussed among the GMs yet, but tentatively I will say yes; my personal feeling is that they will not be able to speak with the other spectators and will be invisible to both remaining competitors and the spectators. Again though, this is my opinion and it may be voted out.

In my opinion, those who have lost should have the ability to sponsor one player, by giving them one item that is not diamond.

They should also be allowed to spawn ONE mob that is not a creeper on one remaining contestant.


EDIT: We only have room for 4 more contestants/tributes.

Too hard to configure/non-canon, IMO. Your suggestion has been recorded though. We will discuss it.

I will be mostly unavailable for the rest of this weekend. Which, for me, won't end until Monday (May long weekend, FTW); I am going camping in Jasper.

Any further inquiries may or may not be answered by Armadildo and Cyrusdexter.

I'd like to just watch this and have flying ability. The map looks amazing and I want to be able to explore it, without the worry of getting killed.
