We too can help!

Actually, I normally feel the same way, there isn't really much I can do. Something or another happened, and I ended up watching it, and I was amazed. This guy who started this group has a plan, and they have already changed the world with it. Through people actaully becoming involved, they convinced the U.S government to send U.S. Soldiers to help out. If enough people get together, people's opinions will be swayed. This isn't a group thats just like "hey, lets change the world!" This is more like "Hey, lets change the world, and here is a step by step, legitimate actually plausible plan to do so." I can't believe what these people have already done, and they are capable of so much more, especially after April 20th. They have honestly accepted the issue and thought out an amazing and creative, yet simple plan to solve it. Again, I don't ever involve myself, but this, this is something else. All I ask of any of you, and I never ask anything from anyone (except Woot maybe), watch the video, at least have the patience to learn what they have done, and what their plan is.

Just sayin, watch the video, then make a choice. Its is a surprisingly un-sad video :)

TL;DR This isn't another sad, feel sorry for these people video, so donate money. This is a look, we have already made a HUGE difference, and here is a smart and easy plan to make an even bigger difference. Have fun :)

A billion people could look and send this video to another billion people but that is not going to kill a man. Killing this man would be just as hard as trying to kill hitler in ww2. It is not like you can launch a airstrike into a populated area or take this man hostage. This man has people protecting him. This man has millions of people in custody and honestly, if this man were to be killed I can guarantee that thousands would be executed in his name. The consequences of justice are grim.
No matter how long you look at the problem it wont solve it.

(Oh my gosh they played The Glitch Mob and Flux Pavilion!)

I watched the entire video, and it was smart. They actually had a plan. The set a date to achieve their goal like any determined person. If you would be interested, there's a movie called "Blood Diamond," that shows the harsh reality of child soldiers. It is actually a good movie, it's a blockbuster action flick with it's share of explosions and Leonardo DiCaprio acting.

There is truth in what you say. The video acts as if everything will be hunky dory after Kony is dead. That is a lie. Child soldiers are mentally and emotionally scared forever. The have become numb killing machines, shaped around the minds of a twisted madman. If he has forced his child soldiers to kill their own parents, then what hope is there for them? NOT SUGGESTING that this should continue. Because it SHOULDN'T.

Even in things such as this. You must always play devils advocate to completely understand the situation at hand.

So are we to sit by and let him kill millions more and teach people that they can get away with this? While the circumstances may be grim, the U.S. alone has had decades learning to fight against guerilla warfare, and while it is FAR from being perferfected, all this time spent in the middle east could be put to use in Africa to actually do something right, not something for money. When was the last time someone did something not because they wanted that giddy feeling of helping someone, not because they wanted the money, not because they wanted the fame, but simply because it is the right thing to do, and someone needs to step up and do the right thing. People won't act as an entity, they won't go out of their way to do what is right without someone to lead them, without someone to say "Hey, lets go out there and change people's lives, not to be nice, but because they NEED it." when was the last time people as a group stepped up and did something because others needed it? Almost never, and this group is the closest to ever being able to do something like this. They already have proof that standing up works, now it just takes us as a population, us as a human being to decide to get up and actually do something. Even as many, a single person in the group does not do much, but as a whole, a group can not accomplish anything. It takes everyone doing a small part for something big to happen.

I understand this completely and honestly I would be overjoyed if they captured this man but think of the aftermath of this.

Imagine this, we live in a day where we look on the front page of fox news

"Kony Captured and arrested after 26 years"

The result of this would be all these kids that they have captive being executed. They kill people already and what else are the people that are under konys leadership gonna do? Go,
"Oh, well our leader is dead, time to turn ourselves in for all our crimes"
No, they are gonna either take out there vengance on the local people but with more anger then they already do or simply execute people they already have.
We killed Saddam Hussein and they replaced him symbolically with Osama Bin laden and people continued to do what they did before.

But, in the end a lot of these people are going to die and even some kids shall die in vein and if this is the price that people want then be my guest. I am not for or against it but supporting this and or not supporting will both lead to dire consequences.

I'm just saying.

Bin Laden has been around forever, he never replaced saddam, focus just shifted to him. This isn't necessarily how it would turn out, and we wouldn't know until we tried. This is something we either act on, or as a race go, well, it didn't sound like it would work, so we just let this guy do what he wanted, let kids kill and be killed, and just turned and continued our lives. Who cares, right? He doesn't affect us any way.

One thing that can be said, however, is although bin Laden is dead, Al-Qaeda's still an issue.

Yes, and whether or not we are in that country, whether or not we started the war, they will not stop, and until we are out of money, neither....oh wait, we are out of money :p . That is how religious extremists work, how do you fight someone who thinks if they die, they will make a difference AND go to a better place. These people know no extent, and it is about who will collapse first.
