I've monkey patched webchat and video chat ( https://chat.team9000.net/sample ) to work again without the new system being complete. It's a bit hacky, but it should work in the mean time. Enjoy.

At least in chrome, there is some place where you can set which camera device you would like to use. You probably have it set to some broken screen capture software or something.

It automatically pops up in a small window near the left corner of the main Firefox window, as soon as the website asks for it.

The two options it gives me are xsplitbroadcaster which I don't use and video camera. Hmm, doesn't work in chrome either. Probably a problem with my camera.
