I would just fill that in and make the entire thing look like a mountain from the outside. Inside, it'd be a giant castle with things and stuff. You know the kind.

Also, there's an exposed spider dungeon in one of the mountaintops, jutting from the side. Insanely epic. Planing on creating a water elevator.

That was a randomly generated minecraft world. there are two skeleton spawner dungeons on top. It is also as if the floating where lifted up from the ground.

If you've ever been interested in Island survival worlds, I just spawned a world in the middle of the ocean that has one tree, some roses, some yellow flowers, three growths of sugar cane, and two cave entrances on it.
Plus a neat looking moon-shaped lake.
I can't guarantee what will generate around the island, because I made a new file with the same seed and got this in the next chunk over:
Anyway, here's the seed if you want it:

I also just generated a Tri-Biome Spawn; You spawn pretty much in the middle of these three biomes.
The seed is:

This Seed Is Too Epic To Tell.
And it's really close to spawn, too, with a spider dungeon. You can get iron and saddles on day one, it's really easy to conquer.
