What's With Steam Lately?

There was some weird update where I had to change something or do something to my account... or something... and Steam said if I didn't do it, my account would deactivate... or something.

After I did everything, my account freaking vanished. My account name and pass (which I know very well) is not accepted. After I tried to send the pass with email recovery my email never even received a recovery message.

WTF? Someone help.

Oh ****, I know what I did. It says on the official site that Valve never contacts you through the Steam IM chat.

I just got HIJACKED
