Why aren't beds spawn points anymore?

If only there was some sort of tracking service for issues in the game that was easy to use and highly functional. You know sort of a general collection of errors that need administrative attention. That would be dreamy.

Maybe some sort of http://www.curse.com/server-mods/minecraft/modreq ? Seen it used a lot on servers, never used it from admin pov.
