Windows 8 Developer Preview!

Guys...Microsoft has released a Developer Preview of Windows 8 at the BUILD Conference.

I've been using it all day. It's pretty sweet. I like the metro api stuffs, the twitter app is awesome.

Not a fan of metro ui, and (from what I understand), the metro UI isn't going to be the default for desktops -- only tablets.

As far as personal computers and smart phones go? Yes.

As far as servers go? No. Microsoft is pretty cutting edge and very widely used. The only thing giving Microsoft a run for its money is linux right now (mostly centOS because it is free).

i am not particularly educated when it comes to servers but i'll take your word for it
