Looks like mojang dropped the 5 port limit. I'm sure they'll probably fix it once everyone starts complaining. It's the same thing on the minecraft.net list.

Apparently DeltaGamers was hit hardest by the server spam. Notch even told them to shut down their Lava Survival server because of this :laugh:

Whomever caused this had a bone to pick with them (which has evidentally affected many other people outside as well) @_o

Let's just say I did a little recon in their forums and dug out a tiny bit of info to get a bead on what the story was. For some reason, someone was blaming them for the whole outbreak, but it turned out that they were victimized along with a few others.

Oh, Research... how useful it can be, and it could never have been possible without the Internet... <3

This just goes to show how ruinous and damaging rumors and gossips are without even doing your research first ;)
