How long have you been with T9K?: A year or something.

Why do you want to join the WorldGuard?: I love the experience of fighting for live. That's why I am Diamond Miner of the Federation, and when I am needed I want to escort valuables with my life.

What Federation city are you part of?: WorldHub. I'm the Director of Fun in Vorsprung's office.

Do you agree to follow all rules? Yesh!

I find it pretty disturbing what i have to read here. The fact that you're planning on claiming land around cities you don't approve of is clearly a threat to grief other people. not to mention Ustulo's proposal... And yes I say griefing: Wikipedia says: "Griefing is the act of chronically causing grief to other members of an online community, or more specifically, intentionally disrupting the immersion of another player in their gameplay."
That's exactly what you're planning to do. And what committee is it that's deciding who "nearly EVERYBODY in the Federation (and on the server in general)" wants to be griefed by you? Surely not you, you guys are NOT the elected Police of this server. That's still the admins, and they have been doing a decent job in that aspect lately. If you have a different opinion, BAAW somewhere else, but if you're gonna interfere with my gameplay that way I'm gonna file a ban request. Period.

In response to Dein's post, the way I understand the function of the WorldGuard is that they don't take action against other people unless those people are the ones who interfere with the gameplay of others in the first place. So if it's a matter of your gameplay getting affected by the Worldguard, it likely means that you were the one who first broke several server rules, thus decreasing others' enjoyment of the game. The best way to avoid this is to just follow the rules and have good will towards others. :)

That said, the WorldGuard is founded on a very, very, very controversial idea. On one hand, it seeks to protect affiliated players from unhappiness in general. On the other hand, it punishes those who do cause general unhappiness. The question is how should they be punished. The way the WorldGuard is going as of now is contradictory to its purpose. They seek to protect players from grief, but they punish griefers by... griefing?

The WorldGuard system is a nice way to get people to play together under an overall purpose. However, its punishment system needs to be thought out more, or quite possibly dropped. Afterall, there's nothing wrong with a "militaristic" institution that doesn't use force to keep the peace.

I approve of Xraptor's other listed functions, though.

EDIT:
TL;DR
The WorldGuard's punishment system needs to be thought out more.

I have a question. Will WorldGuard have anything to do with the nether? Because I was thinking of making an independent organization dedicated to the safety and assist those in need in the Nether. It will have an outpost there that can be used by all as a safe haven when traveling deep into the nether, along with having a nether portal to help transport people in and out of the nether much easier. We'd obviously be great allies with everyone including the Federation and would love to help.

However, I don't want to create this if it inhibits or interferes with the WorldGuard. But I assure you we would only be in the Nether, and it wouldn't be a towny, but an extra group responsible people could join.

It would be called The Knights of the Nether.

versions of those posts.

Dein: You guys are stupid, saying that you'll build stuff outisde people's cities to punish them for attacking or griefing you. Don't build stuff around the walls of your enemies, that's griefing. Otherwise I'm gonna try to get you banned

Lavar: Dein, if you attack us first, we'll get you back, so it's not our fault in the first place. I also think that we're hypocrites, because we grief people who grief us. I think we should tone down the way we punish people or else we will look bad.

Bbgunshot: I like the Nether and I'm making an organization there. Let's be allies.

@DutchCheese: People should seek other means of communication than text if they get confused by more than 3 sentences.

@lacar: I totally see the point, they're trying to make. BUT I'm absolutely not OK, with the way they arrogate themselves the function to decide when "everybody on the server" approves a grief. Considering their decision to put that passus in their constitution, I don't feel like we're dealing with the wisest of fellows here. So their decisionmaking about who's a bad guy is likely not going to be the best, either. To be blunt: They are by no means qualified to make such judgement.
In fact I find it adorable, almost ridiculous what they're trying to pull off here. As I already stated, such action will never be necessary the way it's menat to, since admins tend to react real quick lately. But IF it's going to happen, I predict it's going to happen not more than once (getting through more than one appeal is pretty unlikely). So you'd rather scratch it from your constitution.
