I'd love to sign up, but I'm kinda busy in at least two other roles on the server, can't put my thumbs in too many pies!

DeinMentor, both your previous posts have been reported as they insult other community members, and specifically target one member with accusations of illiteracy, even going so far as to link to a text-to-speech website.

Do you realize, that your meager attempts at putting down other people over the internet to increase your own, already over-inflated, sense of pride has in fact, made you into LESS of a human being in the vast majority of our eyes? I don't believe your insults and snide comments are welcome here.

Whether or not the WorldGuard idea is right or wrong is up for debate. What you have done, however, is not. I hope your ass is banned.

Agreed, seems to be a rash of the God complex spreading around these forums.

I don't see what the problem is. What you guys conceive as insults seems to me like a joke. I don't think a ban is justified, at all. In my opinion, all that Dein has done was to prove his point by keeping the matter at hand on track.
I have been a member of this forum for a very long time, and I really think you guys should sharpen your debating skills as opposed to flagging every post as abusive or inappropriate that goes against your opinion.

I suggest you read up on the definitions of cyber-bullying and debate. Debating implies maturity and professionalism. Calling someone illiterate or otherwise directly insulting without actually being on-topic is neither.

Well, per definition DeinMentor never directly insulted anyone. So if we're playing the definition game, DeinMentor is perfectly innocent.

See, I'm not trying to defend anyone here, but I think what is truly lacking in this conversation - and this is where I agree with you - is maturity and professionalism. However, that isn't everything. In my opinion, it is just as important to encourage more direct confrontation in an argument as that is the source of many a consensus. Certainly, it is possible to cross the line that way, but I think you are being a little too uptight about drawing this line. Jumping the gun with premature decisions like these isn't going to help anyone. Let's all use our professionalism and maturity to value the opinions of others and their ways of expression. Cut everyone some slack and appreciate the humor and this way we can make our community a better place :)

I am rethinking the punishment system.

I am thinking that the strongest thing we could EVER do is create a ban request here on the forums, and have WorldGuard members all support it.

Still, this is unofficial.

(Also guys, can we end this argument? While Dein did make some offensive statements, he had a perfectly valid point that the punishment system needed to be re-thought out.)

I have a question. Will WorldGuard have anything to do with the nether? Because I was thinking of making an independent organization dedicated to the safety and assist those in need in the Nether. It will have an outpost there that can be used by all as a safe haven when traveling deep into the nether, along with having a nether portal to help transport people in and out of the nether much easier. We'd obviously be great allies with everyone including the Federation and would love to help.

However, I don't want to create this if it inhibits or interferes with the WorldGuard. But I assure you we would only be in the Nether, and it wouldn't be a towny, but an extra group responsible people could join.

It would be called The Knights of the Nether.

This sounds like an excellent idea!

I do not know what the Federation Council will say to this, but I approve! (We have plans ONLY to have fun in the Nether, and maybe collect some materials. Your organization would HELP us!)

Ok that's all I wanted.
If someone feels insulted by any of my statements (which heavily depends on interpretation), then I offer my apologies.
And Aetherrack, the things you're assuming about my sense of pride aren't the most appropriate claims I've ever heard. So maybe you think twice before you point your finger at someone else.

I have an idea about the rank system, I was reading a book on luis and Clark, and they had 26 privates and 3 sergeants, they divided up the privates into 3 groups, so maybe for about every 8 or 9 privates we could have at least 1 sergeant to keep control of a group of 8 or 9, and if need maybe more then one sergeant per group. I was just thinking it was a good idea, wondering if u would wana do that

We need more members before we start talking about dividing people into groups.

As of now, there are no Sergeants anyways.

I'll respond to more things later, but I would like to say that my idea was NOT to break their rails. What I mean is to de-ally them from the WorldHub, so they cannot connect to it, and to block off their passage to the WorldHub station, on WorldHub ground.

The punishment system has officially been changed.

Griefing a griefer is hypocritical, and would get us banned in the process.
