Yeah we drive him into a local park so kids can see him. We used to drive all around the neighborhood but that got hard as more and more houses popped up everywhere. And i bet if we had mopeds we would.

The neck on that Ibanez looks really fucking impractical from an acoustic player's point of view. The width makes fancy bar chords impossible.

unfortunately 8 string guitars (especially this one) aren't intended for any standard bar chords whatsoever, seeing as the scale length is 27" and because the neck is fucking gargantuan. fortunately, I have huge hands so if the strings are properly tuned, I could pull off some extremely bass-y bar chords
also, that's kinda why I have my Custom 24 lol
this is a Prestige RG2228 and jesus no i'm not going to change the pickups, this thing came with DiMarzio 8 D-Activators.I'm saving up for one at the moment, what model and are you going to change the pickups?
honestly if I were to change a single thing about my setup it would be to get a digital preamp / power amp and get a cabinet alongside with it. I also need a noise suppressor really badly ;-;

yes sir, went from a korean strat to a Custom 24 straight to this. truth be told I plan on using the seventh string a lot more than the eighth string, the eighth string (which, for me, so far is tuned to only F) is a tad bit too low to be a string to center my playing around (I prefer seventh-string centric playing), but it will be interesting to incorporate for backing bass-y stuff and honestly I love the feel of the massive neck, compliments my huge hands / fingers nicely
also yeah, stock dimarzios don't come cheap. this thing goes for $2200 retail but I was able to snag it "used" for $1300. it's in damn near perfect condition though, apart from a loose locking nut but that doesn't impact anything at all.
