Ask a slime

While Steve was making a nether portal underground, a young, curious slime, decided to follow him into the depths of hell. From some unfortunate twist of fate, the nether portal was destroyed just as that young slime was leaving. The force of the nether was cast into the young slime in a form most suited.

We slime get our gelatinous texture when we are spawned. In the depths of caves moisture in the air and cave scum beging to take on a conscious form, and a slime is born(with that slimy feel we all love.).

No offense Incog, but a slime really screwed things up for me once. I was building a dungeon, and the 6th challenge was a TNT test. A smallish slime hopped on a wrong pressure plate and BOOM! There went the 6th challenge. So I had to keep on going, acting like the slime really screwed number 6 up and I had to make number 7, and that was the day a slime screwed up half my dungeon in Survival.
