honestly, it's not that hard.

You need:

1. A computer.
2. Gimp

First off, you can download gimp at: http://www.gimp.org/downloads/

After it is downloaded and all requirements set, open a new image with the dimensions 1280x1080
Then, select the bucket fill tool and fill wth black.
Afterwards, go to Filters > Render > Nature > Flame
Go to "Edit"
Click randomize until you see a design you like.
Next, go to the "Camera" tab.
Zoom is self-explanatory.
X is the "X axis." Moving the bar to the left, will cause it to go right, and vice versa.
Y Is the "Y axis." Moving the bar to the left, will cause it to go down, and vice versa.
Once it is positioned somewhere you like on the photo, press OK.

*IMPORTANT* Make sure that you selected the BLANK layer, not the black layer!

Next, after the flame is loaded, go to the "Colours" drop down menu. Click "Colourize."

The "Hue" Bar changes the colour of the flame.
The "Saturation" bar changes how vibrant the colour will be.
The "Lightness" bar changes how light and dark the flame is.

I suggest moving the saturation bar all the way up, leaving the lightness bar, and moving the Hue bar to your liking.

After all that is done, you halfway there! Open a new LAYER, not image, and repeat 2-4 times, opening a new layer everytime.
Once that is all done, go to the "File" drop down bar. Click "Save as"
Rename it whatever you like, and in the desired folder.

*IMPORTANT* You must do this or it will not work. Press the plus sign beside "Select file type"
Scroll down until you see "JPEG Image," click it.

On the next page, press "Export"
Move the "Quality" bar to 100.
Press save... and....

VOILA! Your own cool background :D
