EP <-> EC Portal?

Hey, I was just wondering if it would be at all possible to make a portal from Eagle Pass to Elm Creek and vice versa... I'd really appreciate this because as you are probably well aware, it takes INSANELY long to go from one of the cities to the other, and I think I will still live in EP, but make a house in EC ( I already have a plot set.) And I would really like to be able to quickly get to EC if and event is going on there and still live in EP. This was just a suggestion that I believe (if done) would just make things A LOT easier... I rly hope this portal gets made :(
