Let us discuss eSports and whether it is a viable entertainment option in the long term as far as sports are concerned or whether it will just come and go.
What prompted me to make this thread was this video:
In my opinion eSports can be a long term entertainment option in the same was as traditional sports, but innovations will make it difficult to say that we will be seeing the same games being played professionally in 5 years that we are now.
The games themselves will come and go but eSports is here to stay.
