Getting kinda sick of this

For some reason, I can't connect to Minecraft.net sometimes. I can connect to other websites (as I am doing right now), but Minecraft.net is down randomly sometimes. If I go to the map ( http://www.game.team9000.net/mc/ ) I can see people roaming around. Then I go to http://www.downornot.com/minecraft.net and I see that Minecraft.net is up. I cannot connect through the browser either. Whats happening?

Hmmm... Well misterMuchie... the internet is like... it's like... It's a series of tubes. And if those tubes are filled, then it's going to take a while to get your minecraft.

oh one more thing when ever i go to the map all i get is a bllack screen so what is going on?
