I read this article the other day on Tech Crunch that numerous software companies have come together to offer free/discounted access to their developer tools for students. This includes access to the Unreal Engine, GitHub, DigitalOcean, and several other things I've never heard of before. All you need to provide to enroll is a valid student ID, school email address, or some other proof of enrollment. This is available for any student age 13+. Here is the link to enroll.
