Good Computer?

So I am running on my asus G73-SW laptop and I was wondering.
Do you think that this was a good buy? It was 1050$ when I got it.
I mean I know i should have gotten a desktop and i know i am stupid for not getting one, but oh well thats in the past

Now here are the system specs:
Operating System: Windows 7 Home premium 64-Bit
Processor: i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00Ghz (Quad-Core hyper threaded to = 8cpus)
Memory: 8Gb DDR3 RAM
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M
System Memory: 750Gb Storage

So is it good or not?

That... Is meh, could have gotten a cheaper one but not like $500, just like around $700-$900
