Alright, so I was trying to find a software, and I managed to download a bunch of bloatware.
Not a problem right?
It's been about a week since then, and my computer started to get slower and slower, until today things just hit the fan.
My Windows 8 Computer completely skipped the start menu, straight to the desktop, and I found that my Antivirus was disabled. I couldn't enable it, so I reinstalled Avast and ran a scan. Nothing came up. My computer is running extreamly slowly, and considering something disabled my antivirus, it makes me think I have a virus.
Lost as to what to do, I factory reset my computer (Or whatever Win 8's version of that is.) I got to keep personal files.
It also enticed some sort of issue with my League of Legends DDLs, I had to reinstall the program after fixing the previous issue.
Seems to run faster now, but I has anyone encountered that before?
What even was that? A virus? Did I handle it correctly?
