You may of noticed I havnt been on in quite a while, thats because of a broken piece in my laptop that wont let the screen turn on.

Right now, I am posting this on my phone...

My laptop is supposed to get fixed around next month or so.

I am guessing the broken piece is not part of your motherboard. It is actually pretty easy to change the display out yourself. See this video:
