Queensland Airsoft Petition

I know there aren't a truckload of people from T9K that live in Queensland (Australia), but for those that do, there is currently a petition here, that may interest you. The petition is for creating ammendments to "allow the possession and use of some classes of Airsoft firearms by appropriately licensed individuals or corporations in Queensland at approved fields only, in compliance with firearms legislation." I believe that this kind of stuff should not be so restricted.

Sheesh. In Canada, airsoft weapons and paintball markers are in a class of their own along with foam swords.

If I could sign this petition 1 million times I would. The reason that the law prohibits Airsoft is because they look too much like real firearms and so are prohibited....makes no sense!
