All the clocks in Pulp Fiction are stuck at 4:20.

There are more vacant houses in the USA than there are homeless people in the USA.

Men are 6 times more likely to be struck by lightening than women.... (I guess we are just electrifying).

In the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Gene Wilder (Willy Wonka) requested that he be shown walking with a fake limp in his first scene, so that no one would be able to tell if he was lying or not.

In Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow, the Mew glitch:
Method #1
The first documented and most commonly known method to perform the Mew glitch involves the Gambler on Route 8, who is facing north towards the Underground Path entrance, and the Youngster on Route 25 who is facing north and has a Slowpoke on his team. The player must have defeated neither Trainer before, and must also have a Pokémon who can use Fly on their team.
The player must stand directly beneath the Underground Path entrance door, at which point the aforementioned Gambler will be exactly one tile offscreen. It is recommended that the player save the game at this point in case a mistake occurs in a future step. The player then can begin the glitch by taking one step down, and pressing and holding the Start button while the step is occurring. The Gambler will be scrolled onto the screen during this process and the player will enter his line of sight, but the start menu should appear before the Gambler "sees" the player.
From the start menu, the player must Fly away (with the most convenient location being Cerulean City). If the previous steps have been performed correctly, the Gambler will have the indicative exclamation mark appear above his head, but then the Fly animation will begin before he can walk up and challenge the player.
After landing in Cerulean City, the Start, A, and B buttons will not function properly, as the game believes that the player is currently in a battle. From here, the player should walk to Route 25 and battle the aforementioned Youngster. Importantly, the Youngster must walk up to the player to initiate the battle, or else the game will freeze.
After battling the Youngster, the previously disabled buttons will now work again. The player must now return to Route 8 (with the most convenient method being Flying to Lavender Town and heading west). Upon entering the Route, the start menu will appear by itself; closing the menu will immediately begin a battle with a wild Level 7 Mew.
If the game is saved and reset during the glitch, or the player returns to Route 8 after Flying but before battling, or if any battle occurs or any NPC is interacted with between the time of the Youngster battle and the Mew encounter, then the glitch will not work and the game must be reset to before Flying from the Gambler.

Can be repeated, but with a different trainer in replacement of the Youngster in order to get a different Pokemon than Mew.

*Note* I believe I have done this first hand before, but I cannot find evidence. If someone can find some validation of this, I would be grateful.

There is a legend that lends itself strong evidence that Billy the Kid's death was faked, and that he died of old age. There are two prominent names that are famously attributed as perhaps being the real Billy the Kid.

The first and most famous person, who actually ended up claiming to be the real Billy the Kid (with several people signing affidavits that he was), is known as Brushy Bill Roberts. He had all the same scars, bullet wounds, and a photo analysis by CIA equipment confirmed with 93% probability the Brushy Bill Roberts was Billy the Kid.

The second, and lesser known person, is John Miller. However, John Miller never personally claimed to be Billy the Kid, but only that he knew and lived during the same period.

Hitler did nothing wrong

Actually interesting fact. Michelangelo who was more prominently known for his sculptures and architecture following his creation of David and Pieta was commissioned by the Pope to paint the Sistine chapel ceiling before the man really knew how to paint. Bramante a rival sculptor convinced the pope into commissioning Michelangelo into doing something that he might fail at. Michelangelo basically taught himself to paint through the process of the Sistine chapel ceiling. Hell of a first.

Also, fun fact about the Sistine Chapel ceiling. While it may seem like the architecture of the ceiling is extravagant between the painting it actually isn't there at all. Most of the ceiling itself was a smooth contour and some edges for the windows. Nearly all he architectural detail you see in the chapel ceiling was painted on alongside the paintings.

What's crazy is I JUST got done learning that in my art history class

Switzerland accidentally invaded Liechtenstein back in 1992 and 2007. One incident was an accident where army cadets were told to set up an observation post on a hill in what was actually Liechtenstein, the other involved soldiers taking a wrong turn. As a Liechtenstein spokesman said, "It's not like they invaded with attack helicopters."

Also you can probably just scrape the best out of the TIL subreddit for interesting things.
