Sadly, Max was abducted one night. He had run away from home before but always returned. We saw no evidence of him being hit by a car, so we assumed someone took him in. He never wore a collar, so...
As for Squeaky, we had to give him away, due to the policy the apartments my family was moving to had about pets, that is none at all. Two of the saddest days of my life. I really considered those dogs to be my best friends, even more so than the ones I had at school.
 
When my nephew was like three months old, I used to have funny photos shoots with the plush toys I'd put in his crib. (I used to lend him my plushies for maximum snuggle time) These are those photos.

CHICKEN (I think this is why the kids loves eating chicken so much.)

He never woke up during The Stuffed Animal Photo Shoot. And as soon as the photo was taken, I'd remove the animal, and make sure they NEVER covered his head or face. I was into being silly, but not at the expense of him getting hurt.
