Clearly you didn't read the title of this thread. It's the fastest dying one we've got. It is used by physicist to gauge the speed of particles going at near the speed of light. This thread has helped with the discovery of the Higgs-Boson, creating the genetic map of humans, and is providing marvelous insights into how sheep's bladders can be used to prevent earthquakes.
