Yep. They breed based on number of houses in the village, or as minecraft sees it, number of wooden doors (sort of).

It's a year and a half two and a half years later... and I'm just seeing this now for the first time. I feel so defiled.

That took soo much effort to pull off - this was before Woot was selling villager eggs. I had to put underground rails down all the way to the edge of the Cydonian outpost, then push them into the town's borders.
