you have to be cool rank or above, if you are, you type into chat "/water" and "/lava" and when it says they are turned on where your normal chat comes up, the blue block is water, and the red block is lava.
 
Loving the use of your new power :) Please take into consideration however that we try to promote around the 40 hour mark for Builders so keep up the good work and get some more hours behind you.
