I've only been gone a week.

The forums alerts aren't annoying at all, it's the conversation alerts that can be irritating. I have mine set up send email alerts, and my email is on my phone.

They aren't annoying to me either, it's just that I have

of them that is.
That said, since somebody created a Cydonia resident chat I've been getting hundreds of emails notifying me about replies to it. (Phone...ouch.)
 
I have the problem where I'm not getting enough notifications. I've posted several times in the Cydonia thread here and I stopped receiving alerts by the next day. It randomly decides it wants to alert me about old threads revived sometimes but that's it.
