Trackmania 2: Canyon Platform DLC

So....Ubisoft and Nadeo have announced some DLC for Trackmania 2: Canyon....called Platform.

It has 23 new maps and involves "improbable tracks, making maneuvers from heights and speeds unimaginable". It is also playable as a single player campaign!

So...who is going to start playing Trackmania again?

Why would you buy a DLC for game where you can make your own maps...? What sort of campaign can you make from a game like this? I have been wanting to play Trackmania again, however...
