Transistor

For those of you who didn't know, I am a huge Bastion fan (I even bought an art print and everything!). The company behind Bastion, Supergint Games, has recently released a reveal trailer of their latest project, called Transistor. Based on what is seen in the trailer it seems to be a Bastion style game about influential people disappearing.

The music in the trailer is composed by Darren Korb, who also composed the Bastion soundtrack and who I am also a huge fan of, and sounds awesome. The voiceover guy from Bastion has also tweeted that he is involved with a voice role of some sort. This is looking amazing and I cannot wait until 2014 when it is released!

At PAX East TotalBiscuit interviewed Greg Casavin, the Creative Director, and provided us with some early footage of the game. Needless to say, it is looking awesome and I am liking the idea of the Strategic Planning View.

Here is the uncommentated version of TotalBiscuit's gameplay.

The music is very ambient and beautiful and the voice acting is pretty good.

I am very intrigued about what the story is about.
