to me it looks like it might be from the short lived disaster "game.com" produced by tiger electronics during the mid to late 90's. but i could be wrong.
i looked through the system mortal kombat was released on and the only one i haven't heard of was master system from Sega so maybe that's it
OH! There was a controller for the SNES Mortal Kombat 3 which actually took those cartriges in the CONTROLLER to setup moves for the different players (don't ask how I know - I've seen the entire internet). Let me see if I can find details.
