Best & Worst Computer Brands?

Is HP really that bad?

The HP Pavilion g6t-2000 Notebook PC and the HP Pavilion dv6t-7000 CTO Entertainment Notebook PC both have very good value price-wise.

I'd say that the Sony VAIOs are pretty decent laptops. Depending on which one you get, it can perform exceptionally well. Mine, I've had for almost 3 years, and I'm still playing Minecraft on it.

Yeah I just recently got a Sony Viao and it's wonderful. :D

I wouldn't recommend Toshiba because the parts in my laptop broke down easily, such as the hard drive and the battery.
I have a Toshiba laptop, and the battery is shot...and the DVD drive will no longer burn any media. But I have used the computer almost daily for several hours a day (5+) for about 3 1/2 years now.

I have a HP Pavilion dv7 (7008TX) and it's okay.

I have an underlying problem with bluescreening but that's probably because of snake porn

It's fast but it's full of bloatware

I was using a MSi laptop for about a year and a half until I went apeshit one day and it kinda broke. It was a gaming laptop and did well for its hefty price tag. Then I got a Samsung 7 Series gaming laptop and it did better than the original Razer Blade so I was satisfied. They both have a problem with high-spec gaming in that they tend to get really hot. But then again I bought them for school and I don't think I was ever meant to erm, play games in school, so... =/

I have a dv7 upstairs that is most likely 5+ years old. Has been sitting collecting dust, and will most likely still start.

*Has old Compaq Presario laptop*
*Runs Win98*

*Runs smooth with no hiccups at all, albeit slowly*

Can't get much better durability than a brick.

I always recommend building one yourself....but it all depends on your needs. Computers come in all shapes and sizes and are built to fit certain necessities.

I always recommend building a desktop pc over buying one, but when it comes to laptops, this is not easily done. This being said, as far as the business world side of things goes, Lenovo and HP are amazing at what they do and their devices are some of the easiest to support I have ever encountered.

for personal purposes, Lenovo does have a more streamlined set of laptops and notebooks, but they really are not cost effective for what you get, HP has a fairly good line of pc's for the regular end user who is not gaming, and for those of you who love to game. MSI or ASUS have some amazing gaming laptops(even though they are gigantic)that will do everything you want and more....but it will cost you for sure.

My opinions change a lot as well, so take my thoughts with a grain of salt....because again, just my opinions.
