And just like that, the Steam Summer sale's over.

That game is excellent.

I'm proud of myself. I only bought Payday for 5 bucks this year. A record breaking reduction from the 300+ per steam sale I have been spending for the past 3 years in a row. Now to cut down on the games I buy not from Steam...

  • Joe Danger + Joe Danger 2: The Movie
  • Final Fantasy VII
  • The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn DLC
  • The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard DLC
  • To The Moon
  • The Walking Dead: 400 Days
  • Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
  • Amnesia: The Dark Descent
  • Castle Crashers
  • Organ Trail: Director's Cut
  • System Shock 2
  • Hitman Absolution
  • Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
  • Duke Nukem 3D
  • Sid Meier's Civilization V: Gold
  • Saints Row: The Third
  • Dark Souls
  • Scribblenauts Unlimited

Almost every game on the list was either on flash, daily, or community choice.

FFVII, Joe Danger, and the 400 Days DLC were not on daily/flash/community, so I just bought them at the end.

Can't complain, got what I wanted for the most part.

Something like $75 spent in all?

  • Assassin's Creed II
  • Assassin's Creed Revelations
  • Ace of Spades
  • Audiosurf
  • Borderlands
  • Borderlands 2
  • Scribblenauts Unlimited
  • The Ship

Bought Just Cause 2 and GTA IV w/ DLCs for only $13.75.

So far Just Cause 2 has been super fun and well worth the $3.75. The map is huge and there's always something to do. Haven't gotten to GTA IV yet, will get to it later.

I can't seem to play Just Cause 2 seriously. The only reason I play it is to grappling hook/parachute and fly around like a reverse Spiderman. Seriously, with that shit letting you travel so fast, cars and bikes are pointless.

That's why you need to get creative.

Why not get that grappling hook, attach some random guard to the back of your car then drive off a cliff?
Why not get a bike, attach it to a 747 about to take off let it fly you into the air and then detach, and die horribly?

Cares and Bikes aren't there for transport, they're there for fun.
