i got the 1.9 prerelease and the 2nd one but it wont change and i still get the famous "outdated client" message

I suggest deleting your bin and reapplying the 1.9 PR2 update if you're getting an outdated client message.

Yea so I have tried deleting my 1.9 pre release and re applying it 10 times now and im still getting the outdated client message. help me I need my mine craft -_-
